Hello and welcome to Immortal Twists!
This is a RPG site loosely based on David Clemment-Davis' book The Sight.
You don't have to have read the book to join, as long as you like to RP as a dog or a wolf, it's fine. ;)
We're a friendly and welcoming community, (when we're not catching up on our sleepy-sleepy time ;) ) and are enthusiastic role-players.
There are plenty of games and contests going on on our out of character boards, so when you're not feeling like RP-ing, you can go visit them.

The sun seems like it's in the sky almost all the time now, and it's back to that time of year where everything is blooming and blossoming. The baby animals are beginning to grow up and learn the ways of the world, and for the wolves and dogs of the land, it's the season where they can feast once more. The summer is well and truly here now, and it won't be long before those humid days come back.

Temparture;;Getting hotter ; it's once again that time of year where the world grows slightly hotter, and life seems to florish. The sticky, humid days of the middle of summer are a while off yet, but they'll be upon you before you know it. At the moment it's just right ; light summery breezes, and the occasional bit of rain.

Heyy y'all, one VERY overdue update from a really cruddy admin here. As most of you know, I have had some 'issues' over the past few months that have stopped me getting on Twists to run the place and rp with all you lovely peoples ♥
Hopefully, I'll be back soon enough, but I can't promise you anything, and if I do manage to come back, I could disappear at any time :3
I suck, I know, but I just want y'all to know that I miss ya, and I will try to get back to Twists, even if it involves a bit of fear on my part :P

Jus' Foxx popping in with a few updates. Well as you guys know yesterday was Twists's first birthday so I just wanna say, well, Happy Birthday xD
Thank you to all you guys who helped make this site as awesome as it is :D
On another note, don't be afraid if the HTML on the site goes a bit weird a few times. I'm recoding them from scratch, and lets face it I'm only human (orami?) so I'm going to make mistakes with it. I'm almost done, but I need to re-install the scroll bars. It's looking stretched at the moment-o.
So, I'mma gonna go off and watch Camp Rock (<3) buh, don't worry if things mess up a little. (I got quite a few scared messages the other day, bless ya's)
I know a lot of you want your names coloured for your packs, I'll ask Koiji about that soon. But for now, I'll try to hack her accoutn and do it without her noticing :D

Koiji just nipping in here with a quick, quick update. ;)
As some of you might have noticed, I have updated the rules, so please make sure to read them. I know you will, 'cause you're all good like that, but for new members, please take them into account.
Also, the packs all have at least one alpha now. The ones with names without colours in them (eg, Cascade on the Tsingani) are pending. So, if you want to join a pack, you'll have to discuss it with the alpha ^__^

Trusty old MacRae here just popping in with a little note.
I just wanted to welcome the new members that we have floating in, Twists is a great site and we hope that you have fun while RPing with everyone. Just a reminder to please read the rules and stick to them. They are there for a reason, to keep this board happy and healthy. I'd also like to thank the older members for sticking around and continuing to RP, without you all this site would have been dead long ago.
I know summer is here and life can get a little hectic, but please be courteous to those you are RPing with and try to post as soon as you can when in a thread and if you're gonna be gone, let us know. You all have done excellent with this, it's just a friendly reminder and keep up the good work.
I would also like to apologize for my inactivity. I have been horrible at RPing, but I hope to get back into the swing of things here soon. I only have about 4 more weeks of college courses before I get a summer break. Then I should really be able to RP a lot more.
Other than that, have a great summer and have fun, but be safe at the same time. Remember if you have any questions or concerns with this site or members you can always PM one of the staff members, and we'll be sure to look into it.
In short keep up the good work!!!

Happy Saint David's Day everyone!
Koiji bringing you another update ;3
So, seeing as I'm hoping to bring in new members and all, I'm gonna update the pack rules a little. If you're after an alpha position, you used to have to have 20 or so posting points, but now, I'm hoping to change it to 15 (needs to be discussed with my admin team) Same goes if you want to become a member of a pack, you need 15 posting points to get in please. As I've made 3 new packs, there are plently of alpha positions open, no matter if your charrie is a dog or a wolf.
I'm also hoping to hold some auditions for staff, just incase I go AWOL again =P Not that I plan to, but we'll need people to help run this place xD Also, there will be an affiliates clearout! So if our banner isn't up, your's is coming down.
And... That's about it!

Heyy everyone! A very happy new year to you all!
Koiji here, swinging in with a brief update ;D
As you can probably tell, Twists hasn't been as active as it used to be over the last few months; a lot of that because of me and my in-activity. I'm sorry about that, and I do hope we'll be able to regain some members from my revival idea. x3

» The Park Popular with humans all year round, this is more a place for strays than anything, or tame dogs wih masters. Because it's at the foot of the mountain, some areas are quite steep and rocky.
» Blaidd Drwg Blaidd Drwg, meaning bad wolf in Welsh, is what the natives now call this great mountain. They are easy to access, and most of the time it's peaceful.
» The Lake This is an area where humans like to spend their time in the summer. Plenty of prey inhabbits the area, and the lake is a great, relaxing place if you get the chance.
» Farmland High, hilly moorland; humans make the most of the land about them, as the wolves well know. The farms are populated over a wide area, so killing a sheep is pretty easy to get away with. If you don't get caught.
» Old Station The train station used to be very popular, but over the years has become deserted and abandoned. It now provides a home for all types of Lera, making it an great place for hungry wolves.
» The Glade The Glade is hidden away in the woods, it's existance is a mystery to pretty much every human, and that makes it one of the most peaceful places to be, it's fun for everyone.
» The Woods The woods cover a lot of the land resulting in them being the home of many animals. The woods are quite dense and it can be easy to get lost, but on nice days they can be very pleasant.
» Town Center This is the Town Center, it's densly populated by humans, and dogs. It's best to come here at night, as prey is easy to find at that time.
» The Abandoned Settlement (1 sub-board) Journey out far enough and you'll come to the old historic place of Harja. Legend has it that this is where the vision came to a white she-wolf. Now little of it remains, but still enough to see.
» General Board (2 sub-boards) You can talk about anything here. Here's where you'll find the MOTM, and other fun things. » No post gains.
