For centuries these vast lands have been inhabited by four wolf packs that, though very different from each other, managed to coexist peacefully. Recently however tensions have building between them and no one denies that a war is fast approaching. It is only a matter of time before the fragile harmony is broken, and as they advance closer to the inevitable their inability to pull together within their boundaries threatens the lives of them all.
Not long ago the Demons underwent a change in their leadership and their new Alpha has made extensive changes to the way the pack was run. Many of the wolves in the pack were demoted and those who were have bitter feelings about the changes. Most, are accepting and even glad to have a new leader but those few who don't are doing their best to sabotage all attempts the new Alpha makes. What they fail to realize is that if the pack goes down, they'll go down with it.
The Scorpions are just coming out of a rough battle with a disease they refer to as the 'sand madness'. Many members fell prey to the awful illness and still more ran from it. As the plague draws to a close they find themselves less then half the size they once were. This unfortunate setback leaves them with a fierce to determination to strengthen their alliance with the Shadows before the Demons can get to them because without and ally to back them up they are surely doomed.
The Shadow, Demons, and Scorpions were once the best of friends until a conflict between the Demons and Scorpions left the Shadows caught in the middle of a nasty argument. Now as both of them battle for the Shadows loyalty the pack divides on the basis of who they support. But how can their Alpha be expected to choose when she knows that, no matter which way she goes half of her pack will desert her.
The Blizzards have always been independent since their beliefs in doing good clash with the other packs. Their recent attempts at converting the other packs have taken on extreme levels such as kidnapping, theft, and even a murder. Some of the Blizzards, worrying that int heir attempts to good they themselves have become bad, scheme to overthrow the pack.
With the wolves turning on those they once called friends. Behaving disgracefully and secretively, no one can possibly win. Will you be one of the traitors? Or stay loyal to your pack? Can you survive in such an environment? Or will your world, like everyone else's, crumble?
