Jargon
Some of the members who join may or may not be familiar with some of the words used on this site, it doesn't matter if you've joined and haven't read the book, as longs as you like wolves it's fine! ;D

Abreviations that may be used in posts...
OOC - Out Of Character
IC - In Character
PM - Private Message
RP - Role Play

The Sight Words
varg - this is the word that wolves call each other, instead of calling each other 'wolf', they call each other 'varg.'
Dragga - male Alpha of a pack
Drappa - female Alpha of a pack
sikla - this is the weakest varg in a pack
faemme - means female
putnar - this is the wolve's word for hunter, like an eagle can be a flying putnar.
lera - the word used for all the other animals apart from the wolf.
Tor - this is the wolve's female Goddess. She is represented by the moon and is gentle and forgiving.
Fenris - he is the wolve's male God, represented by the sun. He is not as forgiving as Tor, and can be wrathful.
Wolfbane - this is the evil God Wolfbane, who thrives on chaos. the Balkar worship him, and it is rumoured that he lives in the Stone Castle. before he was banished by Tor and Fenris, he made a pact with the flying scavengers because they hid him from the Gods.
Zostar - he is a foreign God of fire, wolves from other lands might worship Zostar.
Balkar - Also known in the book as night hunters, these are a fierce and feared pack of male wolves, led by the First, and they style themselves the First Amongst the Putnar. Now this pack has been taken over as Kwadd.
Tratto's Blessing - this is the blessing that vargs howl at each other's territories to ask the Dragga and Drappa's permission to enter their lands
Tsinga - she was a fortune teller in the book and lived in the Vale of Shadows.
