Thread: I’m not in a thread but here’s an example from a character on a different site:
Power. It rippled along the bodice of the she-wolf. Untamable. It was the age old tale that was leeched in her blood. Beauty. Danger, unknown, and lust played on many a folks imagination when there eyes fell upon the faceted wolf. Evil. Those who worshipped a higher power labeled wolves as minions of the Devil, malicious shadows that prowled the night hunting for the innocent souls. Hunter. It was what she was; her species had always trailed after prey as nomads to feed themselves for the future. Shadows. Delving deep in the night and the forest to survive and always eluding the gaze of Man. The wolf was power, built to endure the winter and the mountains. Untamable it was believed, but in these days who would ever have the opportunity? The wolf was dubbed as evil killers sworn to Satin, but when ignorance was sprung from fear the mysteries of wolves became alluring, their doglike figure…beautiful. They hunted what they could and ravaged its body with intense ferocity as soon as the breeze flicked blood through black wolven nostrils. The shadows hid her kind so that they could ensure themselves safety and coverage from their prey.
Is that what I am, Fawn wondered as she slunk among the conifers. Or is that what I seem to be? The she-varg of two years paused in her wanderings and breathed deeply the air. It was heavily laden with dry pine scent, fresh morning dampness, and the stale smell of foliage beneath her feet. She could just catch with smell of dawn and she peered upwards past the silhouette of trunks and branches to the sky. It was dark, but light was growing in the fuzzy heavens. She knew to the east that the sky had faded to a pale blue and that any clouds along the horizon were smeared pink. Had she really been traveling for two straight suns? An uncharacteristic grin slid across her maw. Lately her mind had been drifting, and she had encountered dark and seductive thoughts. With the art of Dreams she had slipped beneath the needles like a whisper, dragged along by the stream of her wonderings. Never before had her mind dwelled on thoughts like this, and she felt light, as if in the middle of transformation. She bothered to wonder if it was hormones encouraging her to think about darkness and alluring beauty, and if so what would happen if she encountered another Varg. Her true friend was silence and her one pastime was dreaming, but she fantasized deviously of what she would do. The truth, however, always lurked in the back of her mind. She would drop the demon like attitude she had picked up and to save her soul observation she would look to the earth. Her words would trail away and slur together as they all fought to get out, and she would aggravate her companion with philosophical questions until it fled in disgust. Saint would not be bothered.
She preferred to be left to travel where she would and ponder about life, faith, herself, her past, and every other conceivable matter. Sometimes though she wanted to seek out others and ask them what they thought, if just to explore new ideas. Like now she was born on queenly sublime, but she was to lazy to ever really try and be a seductive poison. Rarely could she coax herself into following through with any of her ideas, because they were always shifting just like her eyes.
In truth her oculars never changed, they were just a vast mixture of greens and browns. Her birth pack had told her that they were lighter when she was joyful and darken when her disposition fell. She had wondered about her eyes until she began to fear them. From the complaints of spiteful Siren and Cern about how they always seemed soft and unperturbed, she began to believe that they were a window into her heart. No longer would she meet the gaze of any Varg; she would protect the complexity of her mind and the secrets of her soul until she was no longer a creature of this world.
Her littermates were all but sly and cunning (accept for stupid Bootleg) where ever they were these suns. Siren was the dominant one and was constantly threatened by Fawna while Cern disliked her for some petty reason. Silk looked down on her for being so optimistic, but Fawna did not care. She would likely never see them again, only whatever wolf she chanced upon. Neither dominant nor submissive, she could only be called detached.
Red cream and taupe was buried in the roots of her coat, but on the outside and most visible was the color of rusty orange along her head and torso. Her legs, chest, and muzzle were painted khaki. Along her back was a transparent saddle of specks: black, white, and grey. Her ears were bushy but her muzzle pointed and sleek, and while she was petite her legs were gangling.
Saint’s eyes shone brightly in the dimness as she spotted far in front of her a dark, towering monolith. Her heart skipped a beat and than began to race in her chest. Excitement pounding against her ear, she began to lope forward, her tongue lolling from her head. What is that! She thought. An abandoned stone den? She had seen the shapes of human dens, but here there was no smell of Man. She broke the trees and craned her neck upward to admire and imagine about the faceted den. It was eerie and fear awoke in the pit of her belly, but curiosity was already burning strongly in her gut. Her mind was a whirr of possibilities and fantasies about this strange structure, and it wasn’t until the glands of a wolf struck her sensitive nose followed quickly by blood. Instinctively she became rigid and breathed the air in deeply. The scent of blood became stronger and her mouth hung open in longing. Snuffling the air and the ground she took eager steps forward until she was at the foot of stairs. The scent dwindled away farther up. For a moment she froze and almost decided to turn back to the sanctuary of the pines, but than she leapt up the stairs thinking: It can’t be all that bad, and maybe…
Fawna’s claws tick tacked on the stone floor, and her ears swiveled on her head to try and catch every noise. Soon she heard the tearing of flesh and the gnawing of teeth on bone. Her breath twined upward invisibly as she stood as still as a shadow, and than thinking that she might not be harmed and that the wolf was some great secret that was her answer, she rounded the corner. He didn’t seem to notice her at first and she noticed that his eyes were glazed with blood lust. She watched him for a moment. “Greetings,” she whispered no louder than a breeze among the deciduous.
The hackles along her back prickled and fell gently back into place as she quickly diverted her eyes so that he would not be able to penetrate any secrets in her heart. The muscles in her long legs clenched as the wary voice of instinct whispered in her head. She had snuck up on this male feeding; she should be prepared for flight. The look in his blue eyes when they briefly met her own, the power in his build, and the energies he wreaked were dark. She lowered her head, still gazing below Bane, so that her shoulder blades jutted upward skeletally. She mistrusted him, she was wary of him, yet her tail was not raised in aggression or dominance nor tucked beneath her in fear and submission.
Saint’s bushy auditories swiveled towards him as he spoke to her: arrogantly, confident. For the first time she felt a flash of dislike born because of his contempt, but at the same time he stimulated her curiosity. Why had he wandered into this den of legends that typically invoked fear? What was he going to do besides feast on rabbit carcass? Was the deity Wolfbane actually real and was Bane just his servant? Or maybe some other deceitful spirit possessed this Varg. Could he be mad and if so how did his unbalance come about? Questions erupted in her mind and she went through them seemingly at once because her imagination took control and it constructed his past, his purposes, and his future. That only opened the way for more questions, now about entities, fate and destiny, punishments, strange workings of the universe she could barely comprehend.

Why Medo?
Medo seemed like a good place to start. Foxx is my first character on this site, and I would love the oppertunity to atleast try out being alpha. Alot of the other packs have quite a few members, Medo has either none or few (I'll have to check.) I'd like the chance to try, and I hope that's a good enough reason ^^
Rank: Drappa. Although, as it says in Foxx's personality, she's kinda and can be gentle, she's also very authoritive.
Oath I, Foxx, promise to be loyal and co-operative to all members, I will aid my family in times of need and be there through the thick and thin. I shall be active within the pack, and post regularly.
------
Likes: Reading, Writing, Role Playing, Cleaning (OCD), and going to the cinema o-o;
Dislikes: Racism, Sexism, Inequality, Prejudice, Mess. And much more. (I get touchy on those subjects.)
Favorite Part of the Site: (Does being best friends with the admin count?) I love role playing at a higher level, and I love that this website offers that.

Why Medo? Virtue wants to be part of a strong family, and she believes that Medo will provide her with just that. She thinks that in joining Medo, she will have a family. That, and seeing that it is a place for the bold and strong, she has hopes of becoming as strong as her role model, her old Beta named Rayne. Mike also suggested it to her, and she thinks that it would be great if they could be Betas together here.
Rank? Beta Fae; Beta Fae, because she is smart, and has a great perspective on life. She has a well balanced personality, but will only fight if it is completely necessary. She is called a pacifist, but mess with her or her pack, and she will turn, just like any wild animal.
Oath: I, Virtue, promise to be loyal and co-operative to all members, I will aid my family in times of need and be there through the thick and thin. I shall be active within the pack, and post regularly.
