Those Voices In Your Head...
Personality;:Rikki is, to put simply, a pacifist. He prefers not to have any fighting with anyone despite their species. He has no qualms against anything and only does not trust humans. Being raised in a pack like family he is used to a pack status but has lost that when it was time for him to leave and he yearns for a pack again. Rikki would rather play then fight, rather hunt then bicker and would rather lie in the sun and sleep then get involved with conflict. An easygoing creature he has made it his own responisbility to help as many as he can to see that wolves, dogs and all members that fall under the term canine are one and the same.
Rikki may be a pacifict but he would be ready to break that code if the situation gave him no other choice, a loyal friend to the end he will help thos he trusts with every ounce of strength he has and is not quick to run. All in all a very unusual... but loving Jackal.
Hopes;:
~ For peace between species boundries
~ For a home
~ To not be seen as a "lowly Scavanger"

~ Humans
~ To be hated
Dreams;:
~Being equal to all members of the canine family including dogs and wolves
Goals:
~Join a wolf pack
The Past Is The Past...
History;: Rikki was born in a large Jackal clan that acted more as a pack then as seperate family groups. The only son and cub of the Alphas Rikki grew quickly and was raised on his parents ideals of becoming more then scavangers, to walk with dignity and pride. But he gained his own ideals with this family, that wolves, dogs and Jackals were not different and that the fighting in between the species was pointless. So he grew, feding off these lessons and soon he came of age to leave his family.
Heading off into the forest his ideal to help other creatures see that maybe they were not so different from one another became his personal quest. He would change other's minds or he would die attempting it. But either way he would do what he believed in; and no dirty looks nor words would change his mind.
Family;:Rikki came from a large family of Jackals. They were unusual in the fact that they ran together as a pack instead of seperate families like most Jackals, it was here that Rikki learned of the similarities between dogs, wolves and his own kind and came to question why they hated one another or fought when they were practically the same familiy.

Anything Else You Wanna Say?...
Sample Introduction;:
"Mother?" came the soft voice from the tiny cub as he waddling along behind the she jackal "Hmm?" was her plain but inquiring response followed by a quick glance back at her son. She could not afford to be distracted for a second out here away from the others, danger was no stranger to their kind and it came in many sharp fanged forms. The small cub flicked his large ears forward a little and shifted on his paws "Why do wolves hate us?" despite her best intentions not to be distracted it was here that Flower could no longer ignore her son and turned her indigo eyes fully upon him as a frown creased her muzzle. How to explain this to a young one? "Well dear..." she started "We are different from wolves... they hunt in the open while we follow behind and scavange from their kills-" "But why mother? Why do we take from their kills?" the child intterupted earning him a glance from his mother causing him to give a soft "Sorry". Flower sighed but smiled and rubbed hr son on the head "It's alright dear." she lifted her head a little and continued to explain "Because we cannot kill what they kill so it helps us to survive."
Rikki paused as he seemed to think on this for a moment, one ear lowering to th side of his head while a frown curved his lips and he soon spoke again "But aren't we pretty much the same...?" he had seen wolves, running throught he nearby trees during hunts, and, not counting size, they and his kind looked practically the same. Flower was quiet for a moment longer, turning her head back toward the horizon as the sun began to dip low in the sky "Yes Rikki.... but the wolves don't see it that way."
